Hi, I’m Yerim—a violinist and lifelong music lover who’s happiest when I’m helping others discover the joy of playing. I started my Suzuki journey in Korea at the age of three, and that early spark shaped my path as both a performer and a teacher. I later moved to the United States to earn my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in violin performance. After graduating, I continued my teacher training by earning the Suzuki Association’s Certificate of Achievement for Books 1– 5.
Over the years, I’ve taught private lessons in Chicago, Waco, and Boston, learning so much from each community along the way. My teaching blends the structure of the Suzuki Method with the flexibility of traditional approaches, allowing me to meet each student where they are. Whether I’m following a well-crafted lesson plan or leaning into on-the-spot creativity, my goal is always to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel inspired to grow. Let’s make beautiful music together!🎻🌿
